Riyadh—PepsiCo, one of the world’s most iconic companies, has inaugurated its new Middle East regional headquarters at King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), reaffirming the district’s position as the preferred destination for global corporations establishing a presence in the Kingdom.
The move underscores KAFD’s position as a premier platform for leading international businesses establishing regional headquarters to scale operations across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, supporting Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation under Vision 2030. As a vertically integrated, future-ready business hub, KAFD offers companies like PepsiCo an unrivalled ecosystem in the region.
PepsiCo’s decision to anchor its regional headquarters in Riyadh’s premier business district reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to the region and aligns with its broader growth strategy. Sultan Alobaida, Chief Commercial Officer at KAFD DMC, said: “We are proud to welcome PepsiCo to KAFD—a global powerhouse in the consumer goods industry. KAFD’s ability to attract the world’s largest companies highlights the strength of our unique offering as Riyadh’s premier business district. Home to over 120 international companies employing 20 thousand professionals, KAFD’s unparalleled ecosystem unlocks new opportunities and connections for global and local businesses. KAFD is an integrated community encompassing commercial, residential and retail, becoming the top destination to live and work in Riyadh.”
KAFD is managed by the King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF). The district has positioned itself as the urban core of the Kingdom’s transformation, offering integrated smart-city infrastructure, lifestyle amenities, and proximity to key government entities and decision-making bodies.
PepsiCo joins over 120 international companies now operating from KAFD, which has become the natural home for multinationals choosing to operate their regional headquarters from Riyadh. The district’s combination of Grade A office space, digital-first infrastructure, and lifestyle-led urban design provides an optimal environment for innovation, talent retention, and business agility.
With continued expansion underway and a growing roster of global tenants, KAFD is redefining what it means to do business in the region, attracting companies that not only lead globally but also help shape the future locally.
